University-sanctioned vandalism.

For decades Northwestern University graduates have been painting the rocks on the lakefront with quotes, philosophies, art, vulgarities, or just about anything they want to leave as their legacy. Come take a stroll around this beautiful peninsula and you will enjoy views of the Chicago skyline while being inspired by the wisdom (or antics) of recent Northwestern grads.
