THE FULL STORY
AgeOptions delivers vital support services to older adults and their caregivers throughout the Chicago area. Their work is complex, far-reaching, and deeply human. However, as their programs grew, so did the complexity of how they communicated them.
Like many nonprofits, AgeOptions needed to stretch its resources while ensuring its communications are effective. Their team was looking for a design that works: tools that could help people understand their programs, find support quickly, and reinforce their role as a trusted partner in the aging and healthcare ecosystem.
We approach every project through that lens: How do we make this easier to use, easier to understand, and more impactful—for every audience?
At NeigerDesign, we use smart, empathetic design to help mission-driven groups do more.
DESIGN SOLUTIONS
Clear Program Identities That Simplify Complexity:
We developed strategic naming, logo design, and messaging systems for four key programs—Avisery, H.O.P.E., Pathways to Health, and the Illinois Family Caregiver Coalition. Each brand was designed to stand alone and work seamlessly within the AgeOptions system.
We created websites and branded collateral for each program, focused on clarity, readability, and accessibility.

Why it matters:
Simplifying how each program was presented helped healthcare partners refer with confidence—and helped caregivers and seniors find the support they needed faster.
Digital Templates That Empower Internal Teams:
To improve communication speed, we created branded email templates and layouts designed in HubSpot and Canva. These easy-to-use modules gave AgeOptions staff a consistent, on-brand way to share updates, promote events, and deliver resources quickly.
Why it matters:
Stronger and consistent messaging across all channels.
A System for Annual Storytelling:
Over six years, we designed AgeOptions’ Year-in-Review reports, each tied to a unifying theme—Connections, Community, Resilience, Inclusion, Belonging, and Impact. Each report used storytelling layouts, data visualization, and photography to clearly communicate the organization’s value and outcomes.

Why it matters:
These reports weren’t just internal milestones—they became tools for fundraising, board alignment, and advocacy. They helped demonstrate impact to the people who fund, support, and champion their mission.
Theme Logos That Carry the Message Year-Round:
Each year, AgeOptions chooses a theme that reflects its strategic focus. We designed accompanying logos from 2020 to 2025 that were seamlessly integrated across campaigns, events, and materials—creating continuity and reinforcing purpose at every touchpoint.

Why it matters:
These logos gave visual life to annual goals, helping staff and stakeholders align around a shared message.
MARKETING SOLUTIONS
Public Campaigns That Reach the Right Audiences:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, AgeOptions launched a regional campaign promoting vaccine awareness. We developed bold, clear messaging—“Stay Safe. Stay Up to Date.”—alongside creative for bus ads and posters designed to reach seniors in public spaces and clinics.

Why it matters:
In a time of uncertainty, the campaign delivered trusted, actionable health messages in places where they were needed most.
Tools That Help Drive Partnerships & Visibility:
We designed a professional, easy-to-navigate Partnership Guide and Selection Form, outlining sponsorship opportunities and co-branding options. Paired with a simplified Organizational Guide, these tools helped AgeOptions share their story with new funders and collaborators.

Why it matters:
Clear, compelling partner materials helped AgeOptions grow relationships and funding.
A Centralized CRM That Connects the Dots:
As a HubSpot Solutions Partner, we helped AgeOptions implement and customize HubSpot’s CRM and marketing platform to unify contact data across departments. The system tracks marketing campaigns, user engagement, and builds custom reports—giving AgeOptions a full view of how contacts interact with their programs.
